First off, don't let your instincts be overrun by your emotions. It is the primary goal of all influence campaigns to at first coerce, then threaten, and discourage you by appealing to your emotions, specifically fear and guilt. Don't fall for it, they will be rude, abrupt, refuse to answer, threaten you with lawsuits and call you a racist but don't take NO for an answer.
Demand the questions be answered in full.
The Space Coast Daily article and this Republican Award are an image campaign for Ms. Wang, that Rick Lacey and BREC Leadership are fully supporting. Ask yourself why and to what end? Clearly it is in response to the emails and questions being asked here.
There are plenty of Outstanding Republicans in Brevard County, seems a little odd doesn't it? Follow your instincts.

1) How much time did you spend with Chinese Government officials while on extended travel in Mainland China?
2) What, if any, questions or instructions were provided to you by the Chinese Government?
3) Were any threats issued to you personally or against your family by the Chinese Government, while in Mainland China?
4) What is your publicly stated position on Taiwanese independence?
5) Do you support a free and independent Taiwan and will you speak openly on it?
6) Do you have a Canadian passport and will you surrender that passport so that you only have a US passport?
7) Do you have a Chinese passport and will you surrender that passport?
8) Do you support this lawsuit against the State of Florida by American citizens of Chinese origin (which clearly supports and furthers Chinas interests in the US)?

9) Does Ms. Wang support the immediate expulsion of all Chinese Nationals who have crossed the US border illegally?
10) With the large influx of Chinese forged credentials into the US, meant specifically to support illegal entrants and undermine the US, do you support strict trade restrictions on Chinese goods coming to the US?
Bonus question: in your Space Coast Daily article, Tiananenman Square was mentioned but no quotes from you on your position. Do you wish to expand upon that more and what is your position on Tiananmen and the actions of the Chinese Government?
Please ask Mr Lacey and Ms Wang to respond to all of these questions in detail and post their responses publicly in Space Coast Daily.
Refusing to answer only further reinforces the belief that something is being hidden or that active coersion is taking place from foreign interests. Using your Mainland family as the reason for not answering, is not an acceptable response for a public figure. You must answer these questions publicly to dissuade any concerns that have been posed.
